When providing environment variables, you have the option to provide JSON formatted values. What would be the deciding factor to create a JSON formatted variable?
In my case, I’m looking to provide an empty string ("") as --value for my variable.
JSON formatted variables are useful if you are trying to store variables like arrays. For your empty string example, you should be able to set an environment variable to an empty string, however if you would like to include that variable within a larger array, use JSON formatting.
